We are looking for a talented and hardworking HLTA (with relevant HLTA status) to join our committed staff team to help shape the future of our fabulous children. Our school is at an exciting stage of growth and development and offers many CPD opportunities for staff. Our governors are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to come and work with us. You will be working throughout our school supporting all teachers and children in all key stages. Therefore Subject Knowledge must be of a high standard from years 1-6.
The successful candidate will be working in classes and with small groups of children as well as providing short term cover for classes when required.
They will also:
- Be able to demonstrate that they meet the 33 HLTA professional standards
- have English and maths skills at Level 2 or equivalent
- know how to use ICT to support your work
- be trained in relevant learning strategies, e.g. literacy
We are looking for a caring and confident practitioner who will support and encourage our children to achieve to the highest standards. We will be able to offer the successful candidate the support of a team of skilled staff as well as appropriate professional development.
