Hours per week: 12:15 – 13:27 (3.60 hours per week) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s
Weeks per year: 38 weeks
Start Date: ASAP subject to Enhanced DBS checks and two satisfactory references.

Job outline

Staff and the Local Trust Committee of Scargill Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, patient and caring part-time Mid-day Supervisor to join our friendly village school on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesdays only. Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with our pupils and school staff. Duties include providing a high level of care and support for the pupils during lunchtime. This will be either, in the playground, dining hall, or when lunchtime play is in the classrooms, due to the weather not being fit for the pupils to be outside.

Scargill CE Primary School became part of Derby Diocese Academy Trust in September 2017.

There is mandatory training that must be carried out in both Safeguarding and Child Protection, together with several on-line courses and in-house training., so IT skills would be desirable, especially using Outlook (emails), but not essential as training will be provided.
