Do you believe that every child should have the chance to be the best person they can possibly be? Do you want to work with an inclusive team to ensure children get the opportunity to play safely and cooperatively at lunchtime?  If so, this role could be for you.

The role will include:

  • Supporting children’s play and positive behaviour at lunchtimes
  • Enabling access to play for all pupils
  • Assisting the team in setting up equipment
  • Reading with children individually 1-1:15pm when required

No experience necessary as full training will be given.

We are a medium sized Spondon primary school with 300 hardworking, respectful and well-behaved children. We have committed parents and a Senior Leadership Team and Board of Governors who are truly supportive of all staff and pupils. Our vision is for all of our children to experience ‘life in all its fullness’ John 10:10.

We take pride in the fact that our school’s vision is rooted in Christianity and whilst we would wish any candidate to support this ethos, it is not essential to be a practising Christian.

Equality and diversity matter to us. If you think you’d be suited to one of our roles we’d love to hear from you regardless of age, disability status, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexuality. We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer and as such anyone who is registered disabled and meets the essential person specification criteria will be shortlisted for interview.
