Job outline
Turnditch CE Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
The successful candidate will have knowledge, understanding and commitment to work closely with the class teacher, provide support for the child promoting independence, encourage inclusion and access to the curriculum and learning resources.
We are looking for someone with a caring nature and kind personality who will have a range of strategies to ensure the child’s personal, social and emotional and learning needs are met. Experience of working with children with complex needs such as Autism and PDA is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to work three mornings (9am-12pm), three lunch duties (12pm-1pm on Monday, Tuesday and Friday), and two full days (9am-3.30pm).
