Public Sector Equality Duty

DDAT has a legal duty under the Equality Act 2010 to promote equality and eliminate discrimination. The Trust Board is responsible for ensuring that this duty is met across all its academies.

Each academy develops and publishes its own equality information and objectives to reflect the needs of its pupils and community. The Trust provides oversight and assurance that the Public Sector Equality Duty is being met across the Trust.

Equality information and objectives are published on individual academy websites and further details are available in the DDAT Equal Opportunities Policy and Statement 2024.

With effect from 1st February 2024, DDAT and DDAT2 merged to form one unified Trust.  DDAT2 has now been dissolved and all schools transferred to DDAT. Relevant key information is displayed below for DDAT and DDAT2 Archive.
