Job Title: Premises Officer (Caretaker)
Location: whole-school – Premises Team
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract Only to cover sickness, full-time post
approximately 3 November, 2025 – 31 January, 2026.
Salary: Grade 4, Pay Point 3 – salary equivalent to full-time hours on 52-week contract (£24,796
per annum)
Hours per week: 37 hours per week (6:45 am to 10:27 am and 14:45 to 18:27) (7.40 hours per day)
Weeks per year: 52-weeks
Start Date: Immediately following clearance of all relevant recruitment checks
Job outline
The staff and governors of Scargill Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic relief Premises Officer to join our premises team and who can work as part of a team, and independently. We are looking for someone who works to high standards and is capable of communicating well with others.
The suitable candidate would need to be able to undertake relevant training to this post and also be familiar with our school policies, especially in safeguarding and child protection.
The post is on fixed-term contract, full-time basis, with 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.
