Job outline
We are looking for a reliable and conscientious person to join our friendly and hardworking team of cleaners as soon as possible.
The role will include cleaning a designated area of our school at the end of the school day, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
No experience necessary as full training will be given.
We are a medium sized primary school in Spondon, with 280 hardworking, respectful and well-behaved children. We have committed parents and a Senior Leadership Team and Board of Governors who are truly supportive of all staff and pupils. Our vision is for all of our children to experience ‘life in all its fullness’ John 10:10.
We take pride in the fact that our school’s vision is rooted in Christianity and whilst we would wish any candidate to support this ethos, it is not essential to be a practising Christian.
Equality and diversity matter to us. If you think you’d be suited to one of our roles we’d love to hear from you regardless of age, disability status, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexuality. We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer and as such anyone who is registered disabled and meets the essential person specification criteria will be shortlisted for interview.
We welcome visits to our school and you are encouraged to telephone the School Office on 01332 673827 or email admin@stwerburghs.derby.sch.uk to arrange a visit.
