Salary: Derbyshire Grade 5, Pay Points 4-5 (£23,114-£23,500 FTE, pro rata for part time, pending a pay award)
Hours per week: 15 hours
Weeks per year: 42
Working pattern: 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day
Reports to: Executive Headteacher

Job outline
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stanley Common Church of England Primary School to appoint an experienced and committed Site Caretaker to join our school team. This is a pivotal role for the right candidate to help support and enhance our learning environment ensuring a high quality of hygiene and safety is maintained.
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable individual who will:
- Undertake general caretaking and maintenance duties, e.g. changing lightbulbs, making repairs/improvements to school property, fixtures and fittings;
- Ensure internal and external areas remain clean, tidy and safe;
- Advise and collaborate with the Executive Headteacher to develop and improve internal and external areas of the both school sites;
- Ensure stock levels are maintained on items such as cleaning products, lightbulbs and paints;
- Undertake statutory health and safety checks and maintain all relevant records.
