The Governors wish to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant at Loscoe C of E Primary School and Nursery.  We are a friendly and welcoming school, with an emphasis on promoting high standards across a broad and exciting curriculum. We will offer the successful applicant a professional supportive environment that is dedicated to staff development working in partnership with parents, the local community and Derby Diocese.

As a Church School we have a strong Christian ethos. Everything we do is centred around our school vision of ‘Our faith can move Mountains’ Matthew 17:20.

We are looking for someone who is committed to ensuring that our pupils feel safe, supported, engaged and challenged to be positive and proactive future citizens.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who is:

  • Committed to supporting our Church School vision and values.
  • Is passionate about inclusion and nurture and able to support the learning of all children in a mainstream environment.
  • Able to inspire and engage children to make excellent progress across the whole curriculum.
  • Has the ability to reflect on and develop their own practice.
  • A well organised and proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school team.
