We are seeking a dedicated School Site Manager to join our friendly team and play a vital role in the smooth and efficient running of our school.

You will have a key role in supporting teaching and learning by maintaining an environment that promotes wellbeing, safeguarding, and operational excellence — working collaboratively with colleagues who take pride in their school community and are committed to upholding our Trust and school’s vision and values.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you will:

  • Lead on health & safety compliance, fire safety, and statutory site checks
  • Ensure the security of the school site, acting as a key holder and responding to emergencies
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of  buildings, grounds, heating, lighting, and water systems
  • Line manage and support caretaking and cleaning staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture
  • Supervise contractors and ensure works meet compliance and safeguarding standards
  • Monitor energy and water usage, promoting efficiency and sustainability
  • Support school events, lettings, and community use of facilities
  • Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, painting and decorating

This is a hands-on role requiring leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies.

Safeguarding Commitment

This role involves regulated activity with children and requires an Enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development in line with Trust expectations.
